Schedule 4: Avalonia Account Terms
Version 1.0, effective as of 5 February 2026
1. Overview
This Schedule sets out the terms governing the use of Avalonia Accounts, the Customer Portal, and related identity and access management services provided by Avalonia UI.
2. Account Registration
2.1 Eligibility
To register an Avalonia Account, you must:
(a) Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
(b) Provide accurate and complete registration information;
(c) Have authority to bind any entity on whose behalf you are registering.
2.2 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
2.3 One Account per Person
Each individual may maintain only one Avalonia Account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent licence restrictions, support limitations, or other terms is prohibited.
3. Account Security
3.1 Credentials
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username, password, authentication tokens). You agree not to share your credentials with any third party.
3.2 Unauthorised Access
You must notify Avalonia UI immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. Avalonia UI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.
3.3 Multi-Factor Authentication
Avalonia UI may require multi-factor authentication for certain account actions. You agree to comply with any security requirements Avalonia UI implements.
4. Permitted Uses
4.1 Account Purposes
You may use your Avalonia Account to:
(a) Access and manage licences for Avalonia UI products;
(b) Submit and track support requests;
(c) Access documentation, downloads, and other resources;
(d) Manage billing and payment information;
(e) Participate in Avalonia UI community features (where available).
4.2 Organisational Accounts
If you create an account on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. The organisation is responsible for all activity under accounts associated with it.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
(a) Use your account to violate any applicable law or regulation;
(b) Share account credentials with unauthorised persons;
(c) Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Avalonia UI systems or other accounts;
(d) Use automated tools to access the Customer Portal or Support Portal without Avalonia UI's prior written consent;
(e) Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
(f) Interfere with or disrupt Avalonia UI services.
6. Account Suspension and Termination
6.1 By Avalonia UI
Avalonia UI may suspend or terminate your account:
(a) For any reason or no reason, upon notice, if you do not have an active paid subscription or licence with Avalonia UI; or
(b) If you have an active paid subscription or licence, where:
(i) You breach these terms or any other agreement with Avalonia UI;
(ii) You fail to pay fees when due;
(iii) Your use poses a security risk or may harm Avalonia UI or other users;
(iv) Required by law or governmental order;
(v) Your account has been inactive for an extended period (Avalonia UI will provide notice before terminating for inactivity).
6.2 By Account Holder
You may close your account at any time by contacting Avalonia UI. Account closure does not relieve you of any obligations incurred before closure, including payment obligations.
6.3 Effect of Termination
Upon account termination:
(a) Your access to the Customer Portal and Support Portal will end;
(b) Any licences associated with your account remain subject to their respective terms;
(c) Avalonia UI may retain account data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
7. Data and Privacy
7.1 Account Data
Avalonia UI collects and processes account data (registration information, usage data, support interactions) in accordance with Avalonia UI's Privacy Policy at https://avaloniaui.net/legal-center/privacy-policy.
7.2 Data Retention
Avalonia UI retains account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, regulatory, and operational purposes.
7.3 Data Export
Upon request, Avalonia UI will provide you with a copy of your account data in a commonly used format, subject to verification of your identity. The first copy will be provided free of charge. Avalonia UI may charge a reasonable administrative fee for additional copies or for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
8. Relationship to Product Licences
8.1 Separate Terms
Your Avalonia Account is separate from any product licences you may hold. Termination of your account does not automatically terminate product licences, and termination of product licences does not automatically terminate your account.
8.2 Licence Management
Certain licence management functions (such as viewing licence keys, requesting reassignments, or renewing support) require an active Avalonia Account. If your account is terminated, you may lose access to these functions.
9. Changes to Account Services
Avalonia UI may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Customer Portal or related services at any time. Avalonia UI will provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use of the services.
