New Experimental Previewer

As part of our ongoing work to bring you the best design experience possible, this update includes a new, experimental version of the previewer. If you want to try it out, you can enable it in the extension's Options. Future updates will build upon this new previewer and add additional capabilities.

Detachable preview window

As part of the Complete functionality, we've introduced a new preview window that can be positioned separately from the editor. This gives you greater flexibility and a way to extend your workspace across multiple monitors.

Configurable color schemes

Complete functionality also now includes the ability to customize the editor by choosing from different color schemes.

Web-based Sign On

It is now possible to sign in to the extension using the browser. This makes it easier to use password managers to enter your credentials.

AXAML Snippets support

We now ship with AXAML versions of the common XAML snippets you're familiar with. There's also support for adding your own snippets too.

Improved editor experience

As with every release, we continue to fix bugs, improve performance, enhance the completion options, and provide more diagnostics to report errors and suggest improvements.
