Schedule 9A: Avalonia Plus Licence (Individual)
Version 1.0, effective as of 26 March 2026
This Product Schedule forms part of and is subject to the Avalonia UI Master Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Master Terms.
1. Product-Specific Definitions
"Software" refers to Avalonia Plus, the complete developer tooling suite provided by Avalonia UI, including all tooling features. Avalonia Plus does not include the UI Components available in Avalonia Pro or any of the enhanced support services included in Avalonia Enterprise.
"Perpetual Version" means the version of the Software to which the Customer has acquired perpetual rights in accordance with Section 4 of this Schedule.
"Offline Licence Key" means a Licence Key that does not require periodic online verification and permits the Customer to use the Perpetual Version without an active internet connection.
2. Customer Eligibility
2.1 Individual Customers Only
This Schedule applies only to Customers who are natural persons. Corporations, companies, partnerships, associations, and other entities or organisations must purchase under Schedule 9B (Avalonia Plus - Organisation).
2.2 Own Funds Restriction
This licence is available only to natural persons who are purchasing a subscription to the Software using their own funds. If a third party pays the subscription fees, or if the Customer expects or receives reimbursement for those fees from any third party, the grant of rights under this Schedule is void.
3. Licence Grant
3.1 Grant of Licence
Subject to payment of all applicable fees and continuous compliance with the Master Terms and this Schedule, Avalonia UI grants to the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software on any number of Machines, provided that the Customer remains the sole user. Concurrent use by more than one individual is prohibited.
3.2 Complete Tooling
The licence covers the complete Avalonia developer tooling suite with all features. It does not include the UI Components available in Avalonia Pro and above.
3.3 Use at Work
The Customer may use the Software in connection with their employment or contract work without limitation. There are no restrictions on whether the applications developed using the Software are for personal, commercial, or employer-directed purposes, provided the Customer complies with the own-funds restriction in Section 2.2.
3.4 Perpetual Rights
Perpetual rights are earned in accordance with Section 4 of this Schedule. Once acquired, the perpetual rights apply to the Perpetual Version and survive expiry of the subscription, subject to the termination provisions in the Master Terms.
4. Subscription and Perpetual Licence Mechanics
4.1 Annual Subscription
If the Customer purchases an annual subscription:
(a) The Customer receives a perpetual, Offline Licence Key for the version of the Software current at the date of purchase, effective immediately upon payment.
(b) During the subscription period, the Customer is entitled to receive Software Updates and may use the most current version of the Software.
(c) Upon expiry of the subscription (if not renewed), the Customer retains perpetual rights to the Perpetual Version but will no longer receive Software Updates.
4.2 Monthly Subscription
If the Customer purchases a monthly subscription:
(a) The licence is subscription-based (not perpetual) during the subscription period. If the subscription is cancelled or lapses before the conversion point described below, the Customer's right to use the Software terminates at the end of the then-current billing period.
(b) After twelve (12) consecutive months of uninterrupted paid subscription, the licence converts to a perpetual licence for the version of the Software in use at the twelve-month conversion point. At that time, the Customer is entitled to an Offline Licence Key for the Perpetual Version.
(c) "Consecutive months" means twelve billing periods with no gap in payment. Avalonia UI provides a seven (7) day grace period for failed payments before the consecutive count resets.
(d) After conversion, the Customer may continue the monthly subscription to receive ongoing Software Updates, or cancel and retain perpetual rights to the Perpetual Version only.
4.3 Offline Licence Key
Once the Customer has earned perpetual rights (either immediately on annual purchase or after twelve consecutive months on monthly subscription), Avalonia UI will issue an Offline Licence Key. The Offline Licence Key permits use of the Perpetual Version without an active internet connection or Avalonia Account verification.
5. Activation and Access
5.1 Avalonia Account Required
The Customer must create and maintain an Avalonia Account to activate and access the Software. During an active subscription, the Software will periodically connect to Avalonia UI's servers to verify the Customer's subscription status.
5.2 Offline Use
The Offline Licence Key (once issued) permits offline use of the Perpetual Version only. Access to Software Updates and the most current version of the Software requires an active subscription and periodic online verification.
6. Support and Updates
6.1 Included Support
During an active subscription, the Customer is entitled to receive Software Updates released by Avalonia UI. Support is provided via the Avalonia community channels on a best-efforts basis with no response time commitments.
6.2 No Support After Lapse
If the subscription lapses and the Customer holds a Perpetual Version, the Customer may continue to use that version but will not receive Software Updates, patches, or support of any kind.
6.3 Product Support Baseline
Support is provided in accordance with Schedule 3 (Product Support), as modified by this Schedule.
