1. Product-Specific Definitions

"Software" refers to Avalonia XPF (Internal Use), the proprietary software product provided by Avalonia UI.

"Licensed Application" means the software application developed by the Licensee using the Software, intended solely for internal use within the Licensee's organisation.

2. Licence Grant

2.1 Grant of Internal Use Licence

Subject to payment of all applicable fees and continuous compliance with the Master Terms and this Schedule, Avalonia UI grants to the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:

(a) Integrate and Use. Install and use the Software for developing and integrating it into software applications for the Licensee's internal business purposes only.

(b) Internal Deployment. Deploy and run the Licensed Application on devices owned or controlled by the Licensee, for use by the Licensee's employees and contractors in the course of their work for the Licensee.

2.2 No External Distribution

The Licensee may NOT distribute, sublicense, or otherwise make the Licensed Application (or any application incorporating the Software) available to:

(a) Any third party, including customers, partners, vendors, or affiliates that are separate legal entities;

(b) The general public, whether free of charge or for a fee;

2.3 Per-Application Scope

The Internal Use Licence is limited to one application. If the Licensee wishes to develop multiple internal applications using the Software, the Licensee must purchase a separate licence for each application.

2.4 Platform Scope

Each Internal Use Licence includes the right to develop, deploy, and run the Licensed Application (incorporating the Software) on the following supported desktop platforms: Windows, macOS, and Linux (x64 desktop distributions).

Use of the Software on any other operating systems or platforms, including but not limited to mobile platforms (e.g. iOS, Android), WebAssembly, or embedded systems is not included in the scope of this Licence and requires a separate agreement or Avalonia UI's prior written consent.

Avalonia UI may, at its discretion, publish documentation specifying additional platforms supported under a particular licence tier. However, inclusion in such documentation does not by itself expand the scope of this Licence unless expressly authorised by Avalonia UI.

All deployments must be within the Licensee's internal infrastructure and for use solely by the Licensee's employees and contractors.

3. Support and Updates

3.1 Included Support Period

Purchase of an Internal Use Licence includes access to Software Updates and support services for an initial period of twelve (12) months from the Effective Date.

Support is provided via email ([email protected]) and the Customer Portal.

Avalonia UI will respond to support requests within ten (10) working days.

3.2 Ticket Allocation

Internal Use Support includes twenty-five (25) support tickets per twelve (12) month Support Period. For multi-year support terms, the total number of tickets is calculated as twenty-five (25) multiplied by the number of full years of support purchased (e.g., 25 x 3 = 75 tickets for a three-year term).

If the allocated tickets are exhausted before the end of the Support Period, Avalonia UI may, at its discretion, provide additional support under its standard hourly development services terms. Prior to commencing chargeable work, Avalonia UI will notify the Licensee, provide an upper-bound estimate of time and cost, and obtain the Licensee's written agreement to proceed.

3.3 Renewal and Lapse

If the Licensee does not renew support, the perpetual licence continues for the version of the Software in possession at the time support lapsed, but the Licensee will receive no further Updates or support.

Avalonia UI has no obligation to offer renewal and may, in its sole discretion and for any reason, decline to renew support. If Avalonia UI declines renewal, support will end at the end of the then-current Support Period.

3.4 Product Support Baseline

Support is provided in accordance with Schedule 3 (Product Support), as modified by this Schedule.

3.5 Mixed Avalonia / XPF Integration ("Mix and Match") — Excluded

The Software includes a feature that enables the integration of Avalonia UI elements within an Avalonia XPF application, and conversely, the embedding of Avalonia XPF controls within an Avalonia application ("Mix and Match"). The Internal Use Licence does not include any entitlement to support for Mix and Match scenarios.

Avalonia UI will not provide support, guidance, or assistance for issues arising from or relating to Mix and Match usage under this Licence. If the Licensee requires support for Mix and Match integration, the Licensee must obtain an Enterprise Licence (Schedule 2A) or Business Licence (Schedule 2B) for the applicable Licensed Application.

Use of Mix and Match functionality under an Internal Use Licence is entirely at the Licensee's own risk. Avalonia UI accepts no responsibility for behaviour, instability, or defects arising from Mix and Match usage in an application licensed under this Schedule.

4. Continued Use of Internal Deployments

Notwithstanding Section 8.5 of the Master Terms (Effect of Termination), if, prior to termination, the Licensee lawfully deployed applications that incorporate the Software on internal systems within the Licensee's organisation, this Agreement does not require the immediate removal of those copies from systems where they are already installed and functioning, provided such systems remain under the Licensee's direct control.

However, following termination, the Licensee may not:

(a) issue updates, patches, or modified versions of such applications;

(b) continue to use the Software for any development, support, maintenance, or testing purposes;

(d) use or retain the Software in any development environments or systems under the Licensee's control.

All copies of the Software residing on development systems, testing environments, source code repositories, and any other systems used for software development or maintenance must be permanently deleted upon termination.

Any post-termination use of the Software by the Licensee in any capacity shall constitute unauthorised use and a material infringement of Avalonia UI's intellectual property rights. Avalonia UI reserves all legal and equitable remedies in connection with such unauthorised use.
