Schedule 2C: Avalonia XPF Trial Licence
Version 1.5, effective as of 5 February 2026
1. Product-Specific Definitions
"Software" refers to Avalonia XPF (Trial), including its binary code, associated libraries, and documentation.
"Trial Period" means the period of thirty (30) days from the Effective Date during which the Licensee may evaluate the Software.
2. Licence Grant
2.1 Grant of Trial Licence
Avalonia UI grants to the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited, time-bound licence to install and use the Software solely for internal evaluation purposes during the Trial Period.
2.2 Permitted Uses
The Licensee may:
(a) Install and use the Software on development machines for evaluation;
(b) Develop prototype or proof-of-concept applications to assess suitability.
2.3 Prohibited Uses
The Licensee may NOT:
(a) Use the Software in any production environment or for any commercial purpose;
(b) Distribute any application incorporating the Software;
(c) Remove, disable, or bypass any trial-period limitations, expiry mechanisms, or watermarks.
2.4 Platform Scope
The Trial Licence includes the right to evaluate the Software on the following supported platforms:
(a) Windows: Windows 10 and Windows 11, including later feature updates and successor versions released by Microsoft during the Trial Period.
(b) macOS: macOS 15 (Sequoia), macOS 26 (Tahoe), and later supported macOS releases.
(c) Linux: Debian 9 and newer, Ubuntu 16.04 and newer, Fedora 30 and newer, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and newer, and other major distributions as specified in Avalonia UI's documentation.

Avalonia UI reserves the right to modify, add, or remove supported platforms at its sole discretion at any time, with or without notice. Such changes shall be reflected in the documentation. Use of the Software on any operating systems or platforms not listed in the documentation is not included in the scope of this Trial Licence and requires Avalonia UI's prior written consent.
Avalonia UI may, at its sole discretion, provide certain Licensees with trial access to additional platforms not listed above, including but not limited to iOS, Android, and WebAssembly. Where such extended platform support is granted, the trial itself remains free of charge. However, Avalonia UI reserves the right to require that the Licensee enter into a separate paid consulting or support agreement as a condition of receiving extended platform trial access. Any such consulting or support services shall be governed by a separate agreement and are not included in this Trial Licence.
3. One Trial per Entity
The Trial Licence is limited to one trial per legal entity. Multiple employees or contractors may share one Trial Licence, but the entity may not obtain multiple trials.
4. Trial Support (Best Efforts; No SLA)
4.1 No SLA or Commitment
Avalonia UI may, at its discretion, provide support to Trial users on a best-efforts basis. Avalonia UI makes no commitment to provide support and no response time commitments apply.
4.2 Support Channels
Trial users may submit support requests via email ([email protected]) and the Customer Portal, but support is provided only on a best-efforts basis.
4.3 Product Support Baseline
Support is provided in accordance with Schedule 3 (Product Support), as modified by this Schedule.
4.4 No Updates Beyond the Trial Build
The Trial Licence does not include access to Software Updates beyond the initial Trial build.
5. Termination
Notwithstanding Section 8.3 of the Master Terms, Avalonia UI may terminate this Trial Licence immediately, without notice, if the Licensee commits any breach of this Schedule or the Master Terms. The thirty (30) day cure period in Master Terms Section 8.3 does not apply to the Trial Licence.
Upon expiry or termination of the Trial Licence, the Licensee must immediately cease all use of the Software and permanently delete all copies of the Software from all systems in the Licensee's possession or control.
