Tier 3 platforms need a commercial engagement for issues and fixes to be reviewed. We’ll work with your team on the platform-specific problems you encounter, with your target and support scope agreed up front.

Add seats when more people need the paid tools, premium controls, their source code or direct support.
No. The Avalonia framework remains free and open source under the MIT licence. Enterprise is an optional investment in your team’s productivity and your product’s continuity, adding commercial tooling, controls and engineering backing to that open foundation.
Plus equips developers with professional tooling. Pro adds premium UI controls. Enterprise includes everything in Pro, plus source code for premium controls, air-gapped activation, private engineering support, contracted response times, quarterly technical reviews and Long-Term Support. It gives your organisation an ongoing relationship with the team behind Avalonia.
Yes. The agreement names what it covers: a legal entity, a business unit, or specific products. Nothing in it obliges the rest of your organisation to buy seats, and teams outside the agreement carry on using the open-source framework as before. You can extend the scope later as more teams adopt Avalonia.
Avalonia has been in development since 2013, and the company behind it employs the core team: 20 people across 11 countries. Revenue from customers who buy tools, components, XPF and support pays for the people who maintain the framework, and we publish how that works on our sustainability page. Your position is also protected structurally: the framework is MIT licensed with public source, and Enterprise adds the full source for the premium controls.
Enterprise supports your engineers with product support, a shared Slack channel, quarterly technical reviews, an annual architectural audit, video consultations, architectural guidance and upgrade planning. Formal training, application development, migration work and dedicated engineering engagements are scoped separately through Professional Services, and we can price them alongside your agreement.
