The boring bits (T&Cs)

• Eligibility:
  • Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
  • The competition is open worldwide, except where prohibited by local law.
• Entry Requirements:
  • All submitted applications must be built using Avalonia.
  • Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
  • Entrants are allowed to submit multiple different applications.
  • The same application should not be submitted multiple times.
• Submission Process:
  • Entries must be submitted via Twitter and or LinkedIn, starting with "Hey @AvaloniaUI, check out my app!" and including a screenshot of the application. (you must tag us).
  • The post must be public and remain visible until the end of the judging period.
• Prizes:
  • Only one prize (Actipro Avalonia Pro license) per entrant, regardless of the number of entries submitted.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Selection of Winners:
  • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
  • The winners are final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.
• Intellectual Property:
  • Entrants retain full ownership of their submitted applications.
  • By entering, participants grant Avalonia and Actipro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use screenshots and descriptions of the submitted applications for promotional purposes related to this competition.
• Privacy:
  • Personal information collected will be used solely for administering this competition and will not be shared with third parties except as required for prize delivery.
• General:
  • By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
  • Avalonia UI reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
  • Avalonia UI reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the competition if necessary.
• Timeframe:
  • The competition runs from August 28, 2024, to September 4, 2024.
  • Winners will be announced by September 14, 2024.
