What we’re looking for

Join our growing team at Avalonia UI and embark on an exciting journey as a Junior Support Engineer. Gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of UI development while supporting some of the most innovative companies in the industry. As our support team's first line of defence, you will play a pivotal role in handling customer inquiries, triaging issues, and providing prompt and effective technical assistance. Working closely with our experienced engineers, you will have ample opportunities to learn from experts, expand your knowledge, and refine your problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of support, utilising our helpdesk solution to address customer inquiries and identify technical issues.

Effectively triage customer issues, prioritising and escalating complex cases to senior team members for resolution.

Collaborate closely with our engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, gaining valuable insights from experienced professionals.

Cultivate strong customer relationships through active communication, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the support process.

Effectively manage customer interactions, track progress, and document resolutions using our helpdesk solution and GitHub.

Engage with the open-source community by actively participating in discussions, providing feedback, and contributing to documentation.


A passion for technology and a genuine desire to provide exceptional support.

Experience with C# and .NET

Experience with Avalonia UI, WPF, or similar frameworks.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and demonstrate a thirst for continuous learning.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
