UX & Brand Designer

What we’re looking for

We're seeking a versatile Designer to shape both our developer experience and brand identity. You'll primarily work on crafting intuitive interfaces for our developer tools, evolving our online presence, and defining our visual identity across all touchpoints. While your immediate focus will be on these core areas, you may also support customer projects and marketing initiatives as our needs evolve. This is a unique opportunity to impact how developers interact with our technology while also building a cohesive brand that resonates with technical audiences.

As our UX & Brand Designer, your primary mission will be improving how developers interact with our tools and brand. You'll work directly with our development team to enhance our tooling experience, while also owning our visual identity and digital presence. Over time, you'll have opportunities to apply your skills to customer projects and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Create intuitive interfaces and workflows for our developer tools and SDK, working closely with our engineering team to understand and enhance the developer experience.
• Own the design of our website and customer portal, ensuring a seamless experience that serves both new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain our visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while helping our brand evolve with our growing product portfolio.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive design system that works across our tools, web properties, and marketing materials.
• Conduct research with developers to understand their needs and pain points, translating insights into improved tools and experiences.
• Support customer projects and create marketing materials as needed, applying our design principles to diverse challenges.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design thinking
• Proficiency with modern design tools (we use Figma, but experience with similar tools is acceptable)
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Ability to adapt designs across different platforms and mediums
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain design decisions to technical audiences

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing developer tools or technical products is highly valued
