What we’re looking for

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Community Manager to join our team and lead our community engagement efforts across multiple platforms. As our Community Manager, you'll be the bridge between our company and our vibrant community, fostering meaningful relationships and ensuring our users feel heard and valued.

This is a full-time position with a preference for candidates based in European time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute our community engagement strategy across multiple platforms including GitHub, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Bluesky, Discord, Telegram, and Mastodon
  • Create and maintain a consistent posting schedule with engaging content that resonates with our technical community
  • Monitor community discussions and actively participate in conversations across all platforms
  • Serve as the main point of contact between our community and internal teams
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate community feedback to our engineering team
  • Identify trends and opportunities within the community to improve engagement and user satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with key community members and influencers
  • Report on community metrics and growth
  • Help organize and facilitate community events and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment in messaging and community support

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in community management or social media marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and community engagement best practices
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with development technologies or open-source software communities
  • Understanding of software development processes and tools
  • Experience with community analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience organizing virtual or in-person community events
